Allison Mezo

Allison Mezo is a medical speech-language pathologist and educator who bridges clinical excellence with academic mentorship. She serves as a clinical instructor and coordinator of the Aphasia Communication Enhancement (ACE) Program at Western Michigan University, where she trains and mentors graduate students in applying the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA) across clinical contexts. In her parallel role at Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation, she delivers skilled SLP services and trains professionals in brain injury rehabilitation as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist & Trainer. Her career is driven by a deep commitment to collaboration, equity, and empowering others through inclusive, relationship-centered care and education.
